Sr Developer / Lead - CRM

 Western Dental Services, Inc., California’s largest dental services provider and one of the nation’s largest dental HMO’s, is looking for a bright, motivated, senior level software developer to provide technology leadership for the CRM implementation initiative. This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Orange, CA. This role will primarily lead implementation of CRM for Marketing, Sales and Customer Service and platforms integration with other systems and processes at the company. Responsibilities include engaging with business to understand requirements, defining solution blueprints, developing and maintaining customizations, application integration using ETL and API interfaces, producing software development lifecycle artifacts, performing proof-of-concepts, communicating deliverables to the leadership and technology teams. This role will be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement. This role will provide functional knowledge and manage business relationships within context of individual role. Working in collaboration with other IT service and business teams, this role will be accountable for managing lifecycle for all CRM related initiatives to support company’s strategic goals.

  • Implementation and support of Dynamics 365 for customer Service, sales and marketing
  • Work with business and other teams to define requirements and document solution design. Run meetings to gather business requirements, propose design options and conduct gap analysis. Convert requirements into a Solution Blueprint
  • Lead the design, configuration and testing of core Dynamics 365 CRM modules including hands-on configuration of the Dynamics 365 CRM application using industry best practices
  • Specify detailed requirements for custom code, integrations, and custom reports to the development teams and test completed solutions
  • Lead the D365 CRM implementation and serve as primary support for D365 CRM.
  • Manage user permissions and security roles.
  • Generate user and technical documentation
  • Creation and delivery of content for training. Train end users and system administrators
  • Create, modify, and maintain system customizations to dashboards; views; business processes, workflows and dialogs; templates; lead nurtures and email sends; reports, fields, and forms; among other possible customizations.
  • Generation of subsequent Statements of Work (SOW’s) as appropriate
  • Attain high customer satisfaction ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality results


  • Minimum of 6 years’ work experience working on various Dynamics 365 CRM modules
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of implementing Dynamics 365 CRM from scratch
  • Minimum 8 years of IT and/or technology consulting experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the modules of the Dynamics 365 (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Project Services)
  • Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing, and integrating Dynamics CRM
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on development experience in .Net development
  • Working experience of Microsoft Power Platform Power BI, Power Apps & Power Automate
  • Strong industry experience within Healthcare industries preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM implementation best practices
  • Experience in agile development practices & methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with all levels in the organization
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification in Dynamics 365 CRM will be preferred
